inside; the womb of mother’s tongue verbindet zwei Orte im menschlichen Körper: die Mundhöhle, Ursprung der Zunge und die Gebärmutter, Ursprung des Lebens. Es geht um ein Gefühl des Drin-Seins: pulsierende, tiefe Frequenzen, der Rhythmus des Atems, lautsprachliche Worte, Töne, die ausgesprochen oder herunterschluckt werden. Die Arbeit erforscht klanglich, wie die menschliche Stimme im Inneren des Körpers entsteht, sich ausbreitet, gespürt und weitergetragen wird. Sie bezieht sich auf die Verbindung zwischen Kind und Mutter, die Prägung einer Beziehung durch Intonation, Melodie und Rhythmus. Die Zunge der Mutter gleichsam die Muttersprache und verweist damit auf einen dritten Ort: Zuhause, Geborgenheit und Zugehörigkeit. Die Komposition setzt sich aus Aufnahmen zusammen, die zwei Stimmen zusammenführen: Mutter und Kind. Diese verschmelzen miteinander. Das Stück wird live gespielt, der Sound bewegt sich über eine Mehrkanal-Soundinstallation im Raum.  Besucher*innen können sich im Raum bewegen. Verschwommene, rötliche Visualisierung zeigen an die Decke projiziert die Rhythmen des Körperinneren.

inside; the womb of mother’s tongue connects two places in the human body: the oral cavity, the origin of the tongue, and the womb, the origin of life. It is about a feeling of being inside: pulsating, deep frequencies, the rhythm of breathing, spoken words, sounds that are uttered or swallowed. The work explores sonically how the human voice is created inside the body, how it spreads, is felt and carried further. It refers to the connection between child and mother, the shaping of a relationship through intonation, melody and rhythm. The mother's tongue is, as it were, the mother tongue, thus referring to a third place: home, security and belonging.
The composition is made up of recordings that bring together two voices: mother and child. They merge with each other. The piece is played live, with the sound is moving through the room via a multi-channel sound installation. Visitors can move around the room.  Blurred, reddish visualisations projected onto the ceiling show the rhythms of the body's inside.
